Notes and Highlights: Dove with Josh...Len and Scott had to bail after the earlier dive. A nice, leisurely back and forth over the sand and shallow reef of Diver's/Fisherman's. Came across a baby bat ray that was damn cute, a 2 foot horn shark that made me regret not bringing the camera...octopi, turbot, halibut (including a 3 inch baby that Josh was able to scoop up and hold for a bit before it swam off). Awesome night dive!

Visibility Description: Awesome in the reef - deteriorating outside and deeper
Notes and Highlights: Dove with Josh, Len, and Scott...the inside of the reef was an aquarium...surge was minimal and the water was gorgeously clear. A nice, leisurely swim back and forth through the passages between Crescent and Shaw's...through "the window"...and back out around the cut to the right of turn around rock. Easy in and easy out...great dive!

I pulled this off the "cutting room floor"...maybe the nearly three weeks since my last dive are getting to me...but who knows - you might just find yourself cheering for the little guy by the end...Enjoy!

Bad News...Great News!

Well...I'm enjoying a pretty painful ear infection...been almost two years since my last one so I guess I shouldn't complain...

Especially since the "Great News!" is that we'll be in Fiji for 10 days starting Aug 24th! (don't feel sorry for me about the ear anymore do you?)


So I may not be doing much (any) local diving till then - but stay tuned for dive reports and video from the Fiji trip!
